Quality management

In 2010, Mack & Schühle became the first European wine and spirits importer to be awarded the prestigious IFS Broker certificate. We pride ourselves on working with suppliers who are certified according to the highest standards, such as IFS or BRC, ensuring that they meet the most stringent quality requirements.

We conduct up to 10,000 tastings annually, meticulously checking the traceability of our wines and spirits, current packaging and labeling regulations, and optimum storage conditions. Routine analysis by independent and certified laboratories further guarantees the quality and safety of our products

Pioneers in Sustainability

Mack & Schühle was the first wine distributor to establish a milestone in sustainability by acquiring EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) validation, and we continue to uphold these standards. The EMAS environmental management system focuses on the careful use of local natural resources, environmentally friendly production and logistics processes, and sustainable management, governed by strict guidelines set by the European Union.

In addition to EMAS, Mack & Schühle holds organic and Demeter certifications, essential for trading in organic and biodynamically produced foods. We meticulously select our wines and perform extensive checks to ensure that our products meet these high standards.

We offer a wide range of vegan wines and are continually working with our suppliers to expand our vegan product portfolio.

As proud supporters of the “Wine in Moderation” initiative and the “Don’t Drink and Drive” campaign, we are committed to promoting responsible consumption.

Furthermore, we support the UN Global Compact, aligning our business practices with universal principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
